Recently we were sent an email by Shelby Blitz with a link to her blog, she's a Blogger against Hunger. Often we discover yet another Blogger going about their business quietly, helping to feed the hungry worldwide by raising either funds or awareness (or both!).
This is a list of some of them, and an attempt to give credit to all the bloggers who are part of the online billion helping the hungry billion.
(If you're a Blogger against Hunger too, tell us by adding a link to it in the comments section below.)

Do you wanna starve I think not! but what about the people in this world that do we need to do something about it right now! As Canadians we have the right to help but we're all afraid of the gouverment. Well the time of being a sceardy cat has come to an end we need to stand up and defend our rights! We need to fight to help people out there that can't afford to feed them selves. We need to fight for more soup kitchens and more shelters and orphaniges and more money to survive! I men we can help by donating 10 grains of rice but I think we need to donate more then that we should be donating like a whole bag of rice! Am I right? And i\I mean us and the U.S.A have donated BILLIONS of dollars within the past few years just helping people grow thier fields and cultivate them but then as soon as we let them do it by tham selves tradgity hits and we come back to see how thier doing and all the machinary we gave them and it's all just sitting in the fields and the fields are filled with weeds and dead plants so why are we still helping them we should let them learn them selves cause our gouverment needs to be spending thier money on fixing the roads and adding more red light cameras to every intersection cause it's just not the busy streets it's the more quieter streets that have the most speeding. So ask your self why? Our gouverment should be spending the money on us not any body else thier gouverment can do it thier self. Then again I'am only twelve what do I know? So what do you think?
Dear Bloggers Against Hunger, As a result of low funding for WFP there has not been a school feeding distribution in Yemen since June of 2009. See the article below for the details and also a piece on how you can help. Thanks! Low funding for Yemen School feeding. http://www.examiner.com/x-/x-16819-Global-Hunger-Examiner~y2010m1d13-Low... Hey Abby,
Thank you for your message, I am really glad to be on this list, and I hope to be of more assistance in the future.
Happy Holidays!

Thanks! =)
I'm overwhelmed! Thank you for adding the link to my blog, even though I fear that its primary focus is on feeding us, rather than the hungry.
I know there are countless more bloggers who are working more diligently at focussing on awareness and raising funds to feed the hungry - just to name a few: Pim (Chez Pim) with her Menu for Hope; Susan (Wild Yeast) donating all commissions from affiliate links to hunger-fighting organizations; Giz and Val (BloggerAid-Changing the Face of Famine) who worked tirelessly to produce their lovely BloggerAid Cookbook in time for people to give as Christmas 2009 presents (and of course, it would make a lovely gift at any time of the year!), with all proceeds for the cookbook going directly to the WFP's School Meals Programme.
Thanks for adding my blog to your list.
I knew about this via Twitter and learned about the Gift of Hope. I'd love to have been able to give but I can't this time. I just hope that my blogging can help.
Happy Holidays everyone!
Thanks for adding my blog to your list! It is a terrible thing that people die of hunger, especially when we have the means to change it! Keep up with the good job!
A great many thanks to all of your for your support, keep the links coming, it's greatly heart warming to discover that we have so many people working to fight hunger worldwide!
I usually put your posts on my "Facebook" page and I'm very happy to do so!!! If all of my "Facebook friends" will do the same, there would be quite an effect. Right now I've got a little bit more than 200 "Facebook friends".
I admire your "Big Boss" Josette Sheeran, she's an example for all of us women to follow!
