This year, MasterCard teamed up with WFP to create a game-changing partnership that will deliver innovative solutions to meet the needs of the world’s hungry and vulnerable populations.

The partnership will link MasterCard’s expertise in technology and payment systems to WFP’s expertise in delivering food assistance.

As well as helping the world’s hungry, the partnership will empower brands and consumers by providing more choices “do good” by supporting the fight against hunger.

The partnership will unfold under two main pillars:

-Digital Food: MasterCard will help WFP strengthen its delivery of “digital food” to the hungry poor around the world.

-Integrated Giving: MasterCard will support the creation of an online platform that will allow consumers and brands to fight hunger quickly and easily using multiple payment methods.
