The European Commission is hosting the European Development Days (EDD) on 16-17 October to drive forward debate on international development and cooperation. Participants, both onsite and online, will put forward ideas, examine creative solutions and discuss key issues connected to development.
WFP and partners will participate in two main high-level panels
and safety nets
will be examined as tools to ensure resilience and to end the cycle of poverty and hunger. You can watch the debates live on this page (see video window below).
Building resilience is about enhancing and strengthening the capacities, livelihoods and opportunities of the most vulnerable and food-insecure people. The World Food Programme (WFP)
has valuable experience in this area. We’re constantly working to ensure that vulnerable populations can develop the tools they need to protect themselves from poverty and hunger.
Join us, on 16 and 17 October, and follow the discussion!
