‎Group of young Somalis aims to help drought victims

As photos of famine come to Central Minnesota from 8,000 miles away, local Somalis are organizing assistance to send across the Atlantic. (..) Those nations have pledged more than $500 million of their citizens’ money for Somalia, and other agencies, such as the United Nations’ Children’s Fund and World Food Programme, have sent thousands of pounds of high-energy biscuits, rice, baby formula, medicine and more.
