‎WFP to provide emergency food assistance

United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) is providing emergency food assistance for nearly 400,000 persons in the Eastern Province who have been affected badly by the floods.Ms. Diluka Piyasena of WFP told our news sources that the food assistance would consist of some 735 tons of dry rations, including rice, dhal, sugar and pulses.
