CARIBBEAN: Tropical Storm Paloma

Tropical Storm Paloma has formed in Caribbean and is currently moving towards north-northwest. It is expected to make landfall in Cuba, Jamaica and southern Bahamas in the coming days. The storm is also expected to pass close to Haiti bringing rains. The situation requires close monitoring as Caribbean countries have been heavily affected by this hurricane season and are particularly vulnerable to further weather disturbances.
