Sporadic clashes in Yemen have erupted between government troops and rebel fighters in the north of the country (..). Gian Carlo Cirri, the country director for the World Food Programme (WFP), told Al Jazeera: "As long as hostilities are ongoing and the environment is so volatile, it is impossible to work in such conditions.
