The World Food Programme has started its operation in Bajaur from 30 June, 2009. Food distributions hub at Abbottabad has been established and has started delivery food items to 655 registered IDP families out of 872. The World Food Programme (WFP) is setting up its ‘Food Hub’ at Buner and will start functioning by 4 July. It will deliver rations to approx 3000 returning families for 6 months.
