The Consolidated Report on SAFE Access to Fuel and Energy (SAFE), 2009-2014 provides an overview of WFP’s Safe Access to Fuel and Energy pilot programmes in the early stages of the initiative and the multi-faceted challenges associated with access to cooking fuel. It explains the rationale behind SAFE, progress made obtained in the implementation of SAFE activities together with reflections on the future of the programme.
