East Africa fund needs 'one last push,' minister says

As the Friday deadline looms for the Canadian government's promise to match relief dollars for the East African humanitarian crisis, International Co-operation Minister Bev Oda appealed to Canadians to give what they can. (..) Those funds will be distributed through the UN World Food Programme and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees for such emergency needs as water, food, sanitation and medical services.
