The IR EMOP is prepared based on the assumption that in the next few weeks, there will be tens of thousands of displaced people moving around Damascus, squatting in open areas and public buildings for days or weeks at a time. SARC and local charities are doing everything possible to assist, but are exhausted and calling for urgent help, particularly with food, blankets, kitchen and hygiene kits.
