The Joint Assessment Mission (JAM) was conducted by UNHCR, WFP, ARRA and partners from 13 to 22 October 2014. The JAM team was made of various agencies represented at both head and field office level, and with diverse expertise and specialty. The 2014 JAM aims to evaluate the impact of the food and non-food assistance provided to refugees, with an emphasis on food security, nutrition and livelihood, and to provide workable solutions to improve the assistance. The JAM field teams visited refugee settlements in Shire, Afar, Assossa, Gambela, Jijiga and Dollo
