Food aid to Pakistan reaches 7,000 tonnes: WFP

The UN World Food Programme (WFP) has distributed around 7,000 tonnes of monthly family food rations in the flood-affected region of Pakistan, Xinhua reported. The family food rations have been given to about 490,000 people since the start of food distribution in mid-September, the WFP announced here Friday.
