Starting in May 2016, WFP piloted online surveys as a data collection, beginning with a survey on perceptions of food security in metropolitan Port-au-Prince and surrounding areas in Haiti. The online survey uses technology developed by RIWI, which reaches random respondents with survey forms as they surf the web. Respondents are asked to respond to a short series of questions about factors that could affect food security in their neighborhoods.
