How equal rights boost food security

Civilians in central Darfur, Sudan, have been deliberately targeted and subjected to unlawful killings, sexual violence including rape, and looting after fighting between two Arab tribes intensified, Amnesty International said on Friday. Elements of government paramilitary forces and other armed militias were involved in the hostilities, particularly in large-scale attacks against civilians in and around Um Dukhun, central Darfur.
