IDPs vulnerable as winter approaches

(..) Sixty-two year old Mohammed Nawaz, belonging to the farmers’ village, Sirajuddin Muhal, said that he being a mason built a new mud house few days before the rains started. Then the flood washed away everything, leaving just pillars there. Now, he said, they were lucky that a boat operation had been launched by the Pakistan Fisherfolk’s Forum (PFF) in collaboration with the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) to facilitate the people of eight villages, which were still surrounded by water.
