Japan gives Guinea US$5.8 million for health

The Japanese government has released US$5.8 million to Guinea to help it to tackle food insecurity in the most under-privileged areas, a statement from the office of the World Food Programme (WFP) said on Tuesday. (..) WFP representative, Fatma Samoura, said thanks to that distribution, her institution would be able to take vital food and nutritional support to 'vulnerable people' until late 2010.
