Hunger Looms Three Months After Ketsana Storm

Three months after tropical storm Ketsana struck southern Laos, leaving 28 dead and an estimated US$90 million worth of damage to property and infrastructure, tens of thousands of survivors find themselves with little or nothing to eat.(..) To cope, Bounted's family, like others in the district, are living off cassava, a staple of the Lao diet, mixed with rice donated by the World Food Programme (WFP).
