While WFP’s primary partner in Malawi is the Government, the agency also works in close collaboration with other UN agencies and has partnership arrangements with local and international non-governmental organisations (NGOs). The primary role of WFP is to organise and manage the food aid pipeline so that food reaches the intended beneficiaries.
