The United Nations World Food Programme yesterday announced the appointment of Amer Daoudi as its Representative in Sudan. (..) “I am happy to be back in Sudan and to be heading WFP’s largest operation in the world,” said Daoudi, who first worked in Sudan as WFP’s Head of Logistics from 1994 to1998.
