The World Food Programme (WFP) has so far distributed food items among 550,000 people in five flood affected districts of Sindh.In October the number will reach 2.5 million people, who will have been provided food and other relief items.This was stated by Deputy Executive Director for Operations of WFP Ramiro Lopes Da Silva, while briefing President Asif Ali Zardari at Aiwan-e-Sadr on Monday.He was accompanied by Acting Country Director Dominique Frankefrot and other WFP officials.
