Red Cross seeks US$26m for Zimbabwe

The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) have appealed for US$26 million to augment humanitarian assistance for vulnerable groups in Zimbabwe in the face of a continued food crisis in the country until next year. (..) The food operation has adequate funding up to the end of September 2009 with the WFP covering the balance of the operational costs.
