Shock-responsive social protection in Latin America and the Caribbean

What factors enable social protection systems to be more responsive to shocks?

This is the main research question of the first Study on Shock-responsive Social Protection in Latin America and the Caribbean, a new flagship initiative by WFP and Oxford Policy Management (OPM) in collaboration with many partners and governments in the region. The theoretical framework and a case study on Ecuador are available already. More country case studies are forthcoming.
