Three million people need emergency food aid in flood-hit Pakistan -WFP

Some 3 million people need emergency food assistance in Pakistan after floods crippled the country’s Sindh province, the World Food Programme (WFP) warned. “Initial assessment data confirms what we feared: that more than half of those affected by the monsoon floods are critically short of food,” WFP Acting Country Director Dominique Frankefort said in a statement on Tuesday.
