As Ugandan nomads adapt to drought, less dependence on food aid

For the vast majority of his life, Mateo Longoli has known little but the nomadic life of a cattle-herder in the remote Karamoja region of Uganda. (..) Beyond the psychological and physical scars left by a decade of military operations, this year 140,000 people will still receive food aid, the World Food Programme (WFP) says.
