WFP envoy meets China's food aid recipients

The World Food Programme's first Chinese Ambassador Against Hunger, Li Ning, visited Bogra on Sunday to meet some of the 400,000 women and children who have received China's help. He was accompanied by representatives of the Chinese Embassy in Dhaka and the Chinese Ministry of Agriculture. The Chinese ministry has donated more than US$2 million to WFP Bangladesh over the past two years.
