WFP inaugurates emergency food storage facility in Cagayan

Officials of the United Nations-World Food Programme (UN-WFP) are now in the province to assess their projects in the three towns of Cagayan province and inaugurated a newly constructed emergency food storage facility. (..) The facility was funded through a counterpart scheme wherein the UN-WFP spent P1 million for the project, P500,000 from the local government unit of Amulung, and P100,000 from the Department of Social Welfare and Development Regional Office.
