- On 19 June, for the first time since the scale-up of WFP’s emergency response, WFP managed to reach Al Dhale governorate overcoming persistent access and security constraints.
- In June so far, WFP has reached over 100,000 food insecure and conflict-affected Yemenis in seven governorates through the distribution of 1,300 mt of food assistance.
- Since 15 April, and the scale-up of WFP’s emergency operations, WFP has provided food assistance to 1.7 million food insecure and conflict-affected Yemenis in 12 governorates.
- WFP continues to attempt access to the Port of Aden; WFP is also investigating the feasibility and potential use of other smaller ports in the South of Yemen, such as Moka.
