Ecuador: KFC contribution for WFP, as part of YUM! brands campaign World Hunger Relief (Copyright: WFP/Gabriela Malo)
As part of YUM! Brands World Hunger Relief, KFC Ecuador handed a US$80.000 check to WFP, marking the end of several weeks of campaign.
This contribution will help WFP improve the food and nutritional security of some the most vulnerable people in Ecuador: Children living in poor communities of the Northern border.
During the campaign, KFC donated 10 cents for each "Ideal Combo" purchased, and clients themselves donated small amounts through tickets for a nationwide raffle which took place in January 2012.
