HEBs distribution in San Vicente
WFP Representative Dorte Ellehammer and other WFP staff distribute HEBs among people affected by Hurricane Ida in a shelter in the department of San Vicente. WFP plans to distribute HEBs to more than 7,000 people in San Vicente.
A good bite
A girl eats her ration of ready-to-eat food. Hurricane Ida affected 40 municipalities across El Salvador. Approximately 1,835 homes have been severely damaged and more than 209 destroyed. 25 health facilities and up to 80 schools have also been damaged or destroyed.
