Food Assistance to Refugees in Central African Republic

WFP provides food assistance to Congolese refugees at the Batalimo refugee camp, located in Lobaye prefecture, in the south-west of CAR. Approximately 6,000 refugees receive a full ration of 540 g/day /person to meet the daily calorie intake of 2,100 Kcal. The food basket consists of cereals, pulses, vegetable oil, salt and super cereal. Distributions continue despite the recent deterioration of security situation in CAR.
