ADDIS ABABA – The United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) today welcomed its first contribution from the Chechen Ahmat Kadyrov Charity Foundation of the Russian Federation. This donation, the largest ever from PEPFAR, will offer a critical boost to WFP’s HIV and AIDS activities in Ethiopia.

PepsiCo, Inc., the PepsiCo Foundation, the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) and United States Agency for International Development (USAID) announced today a groundbreaking public-private partnership to dramatically increase chickpea production and promote long-term nutritional and economic security in Ethiopia.
