Canada Donates Nearly US$6 Million to School Feeding in Haiti
During his first official visit to Haiti, the Minister of International Development and Minister for La Francophonie, Christian Paradis, announced a donation of nearly US$6 million to the WFP School Feeding Programme in Haiti. "Canadians are a generous people and they remain deeply concerned by the challenges the Haitian people face," said the Minister in a statement. Canada is the largest donor to WFP operations in Haiti.
