Assistance to Refugees from Myanmar

Protracted Relief and Recovery Operation (PRRO) 200673 will assist Rohingya refugees living in Kutupalong and Nayapara camps in Cox’s Bazar district, Bangladesh. The majority of the refugees came to Bangladesh during 1991/92 following a wave of sectarian violence in Myanmar. The refugees are dependent on humanitarian assistance for their survival due to official restrictions relating to their movement outside the camps and involvement in income-generating activities.
