Dailekh – The United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) has held its Annual Children’s Design Competition at the Bhairabnath Higher secondary school, Naumule Bazar in Dailekh district. The theme for this year’s competition is “Zero Hunger: Infinite Possibilities”. The competition takes place across the world in schools where WFP runs school meals programmes. WFP and the Government of Nepal have been distributing school meals to children in Nepal since 1996.

KATHMANDU – The United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) has participated in the eighth annual Kathmandu Marathon to highlight the importance of school meals programmes in fighting hunger. WFP has been supporting the school meals programme of the Government of Nepal since 1996.
