World Food Programme Fighting Hunger Worldwide

This rapid assessment evaluates the food security and nutrition compared of 8 communities compared to pre-crisis conditions. The study was qualitative, the numbers provided for both communities were statistically representative.

The mission took place from 4 to 15 February 2008 to assess the situation of food security and livelihoods of affected population Hurricane Felix six months after the event, to determine their needs for food and non food assistance.
