The Philippines is vulnerable to a myriad of natural hazards like typhoons, flooding, landslides, earthquakes, and volcanic activities. Disasters such as these affect the food and nutrition security of vulnerable populations. This is why Disaster Preparedness and Response/Climate Change Adaptation (DPR/CCA) is an important part of the World Food Programme's work here in the Philippines.
