WFP has worked in Swaziland since the 1960 - exiting in 1996 and resuming operations from 2002 to date- in support of the Government and Swazis. The main hardships faced are with regard to crop failure, HIV&AIDS and natural disasters. Over the years, WFP has gained experience and understanding of the challenges faced by Swazis and continues to help find creative ways to provide hunger solutions in order to enhance recovery from successive years of drought.
