The evaluation covers the operation Tajikistan PRRO 200122 Restoring Sustainable Livelihoods for Food-Insecure People. It was intended for both accountability and learning and focuses on assessing: i) the appropriateness and coherence of the operation; ii) its results; and iii) the factors explaining the results.

The evaluation assessed the following activities: Vulnerable Group Feeding, Food for Assets, Emergency Responses, Targeted Supplementary Feeding, Blanket Supplementary Feeding, Support to HIV Patients, and a cash pilot project to test an alternative modality for delivering assistance to food insecure families.

The evaluation, which makes a number of recommendations for the future, was managed and conducted by a consultancy firm, with fieldwork taking place in April 2014.
