The evaluation covers the Tajikistan PRRO 200122 “Restoring Sustainable Livelihoods for Food-Insecure People”. It was intended for both accountability and learning purposes and focuses on assessing: i) the appropriateness and coherence of the operation; ii) its results; and iii) the factors explaining the results.

The evaluation assessed the following activities: Vulnerable Group Feeding, Food for Assets, Emergency Response, Targeted Supplementary Feeding, Blanket Supplementary Feeding, Support to HIV Patients, a cash pilot project to test an alternative modality for delivering assistance to food-insecure families as well as capacity development.

The evaluation, which makes a number of recommendations for the future, was managed and conducted by a consultancy firm, with fieldwork taking place in April 2014.
