WFP's Office of Evaluation is committed to collecting and sharing key lessons emerging from its evaluations of WFP's operations and policies. Our goal is to ensure the right content is in the right place at the right time in the right format.
The 'Closing the Learning Loop' initiative, triggered by the 2008 Evaluation Policy, is a major project to develop a repository of accessible, useful evaluation lessons.
An analysis of user requirements found the greatest level of unserved need for information about lessons from experiences is at the operational staff level. The 14 recommendations in Harvesting Lessons from WFP Evaluations - Report of Phase 1, Closing the Learning Loop propose how to address those gaps.
As the project progresses we will add links below to more outputs that ensure that key lessons from WFP's work contribute to future performance and results.
