Qatar Fund For Development Supports WFP’s Food Assistance Program in Iraq

London- The Qatar Fund For Development (QFFD) has made a contribution of US$3 million to the United Nations World Food Programme to provide assistance for displaced people in Iraq. The funding will support more than 22,000 Iraqis living in camps.

Government of Japan and WFP working together to rebuild Iraq

BAGHDAD – As Iraq emerges from four years of conflict and unrest, the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) welcomed a US$10 million contribution from the Government of Japan in support of recovery efforts. A portion of this contribution will also support Syrian refugees sheltering in Iraq.
