    Togo floods

Heavy rainfall in northern Togo has destroyed 30,000 houses and washed away valuable farm land. WFP is distributing food in Tandjoare district near Dapaong (see VNR) and estimates that it will require US$1.4 million in extra funding to provide a two-month ration to the worst-hit flood victims.
