Ntumodzi, 50 km north of Lilongwe - Dorothy David carries home a basket full of wild foods. Later she will boil these plants, add a small quantity of maize and serve her husband and six children with their only meal of the day.

By August, Dorothy's family is expected to completely run out of even this food.
