Afghanistan: WFP food aid helps villagers get through harsh winter

Last year, the people of Northern Afghanistan faced drought and so their harvests failed. Getting through the winter was already tough. Now there’s a blanket of snow across the region, making conditions even tougher for the people of Mazar-e Sharif. WFP food aid will help the most vulnerable get through the winter.
