A woman gives her fingerprint as identification in order to receive her food ration. With generous support from the Government of Canada, and through WFP’s implementing partner, ADRA, WFP is providing food assistance to the most vulnerable in the Central Highlands.
In the meantime, while the mothers are learning marketable skills, their children are also learning in nursery classes. In cooperation with the German NGO HELP, WFP provides food assistance to the women through the Food-for-Training component of the programme, and daycare classes are offered for their children.
