Living With an Uncertain Future
Tribal violence in Southern Sudan threatens the fragile peace in a region and also WFP's ability to reach the people in need of food assistance. Last year, in Abyei, near the border between the north and south of the country, clashes between the Government of Sudan forces and the Sudan Peoples Liberation Army left many dead and made WFP's work all the harder.
