Responding to a Rat Flood in Bangladesh
Thousands of rats have descended upon the picturesque Chittagong Hill Tracts of Bangladesh, destroying crops and threatening the livelihoods of small farmers. Funding from the European Commission (ECHO) has enabled WFP to set up food-for-assets programmes to help people faced with ruin get back on their feet.
