World Food Programme Fighting Hunger Worldwide

Basilia Vargas receives from the WFP personnel 30 vouchers of 20 Bolivianos each in order to exchange for food. It is fruits of her labour in her orchard and her training such as capacitating in production techniques.
 

More than 20 women of the El Carmen community from the municipality of San Julian received vouchers like these in order to exchange for food in the cities of San Julian and of Montero, in Santa Cruz.
 

Cristina, neighbour of the El Carmen community, receives vouchers to exchange for food. This project of vouchers for foods is financed by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).

Thanks to the vouchers and her work, Basilia takes home 50 kilos of rice, 5 kilos de quinua, 2 packages of noodles, 5 litres of oil, salt, 50 eggs and 10 kilos of flour.
