Blanket feeding activities launched in CAR 1
The Health Minister of CAR arrives for the ceremony to launch WFP's blanket feeding programme, which aims to prevent acute malnutrition among children 6-23 months of age, pregnant women and nursing mothers with children under 6 months.
Blanket feeding activities launched in CAR 3
Mothers and their children receive WFP nutritional assistance. CORDAID is the NGO responsible for the implementation of WFP's blanket feeding activities. Informational sessions were held for beneficiaires on a variety of topics, including nutrition and hygiene of infants and young children, and proper use of the rations.
