The Bio-Psicosocial Foundation is a Cartagena-based NGO supporting displaced populations through trainings and social projects. WFP and this NGO support women and their families to recover their livelihoods after being displaced with the aim of reaching self-sufficiency.
Cartagena de Indias, in the Atlantic coast of Colombia, host around 86,000 internally displaced populations. In Cartagena, WFP, the Government of Colombia and local institutions support approximately 1,500 people through different projects and programmes.
